TC Kids Camp
Children make a world of difference and we celebrate these creative expressions at TC’s fourth annual Academic Festival’s Kids Camp. Please join The Hollingworth Center as we host students in kindergarten through the fifth grade for a day including an array of activities, snacks, and lunch. Here is a preview at what is in store!
The Workshop
Our day begins with renowned minstrel Ken Galipeau and his traveling guitar and we will Make a World of Difference with our voices and our movement. As the day unfolds a biologist from the Wolf Conservation Center joins us for a workshop as we learn how animals and people are inextricably connected. Path to Rhythm leads us in a drumming circle with instruments for all as we feel the beat of the world. Our Workshop space closes with Mario “the Maker Magician” Marchese, a 2016-17 New Victory Theater LabWorks artist. With our Maker Magician creativity, imagination, and humor highlight what makes the world go round.
The Studio
Art speaks all languages and crosses all borders. As we create our pop up signature piece for presentation and display, design disks to illustrate your own story, and create a wreath of our hands. With your Academic Festival Apron, paint, glue, collage materials, and other intrigues enhance the creations.
The Atelier 
Free expression communicates around the world. Come and create an instrument, a wire sculpture and a marble run. Many other materials available for abstract art creations.
Nature’s Place
The TC courtyard invites us to spin rainbows (parachute play) and looking at the colors of the world through special prisms.
The Salon
Step into the cozy salon and play a card game, read a magazine, peruse a book or do a puzzle whenever you need some quiet time.
The Fine Print
Drop begins at 8:55 a.m. and concludes promptly at 9:10 am. Late arrivals cannot be admitted. Pick up is anytime during the day by notifying the director’s assistant at drop off. The final pick up time is at 5:30 p.m. Enrollment is limited and we do fill. Register early to avoid disappointment. On site registration is not permitted. Required* Forms
Before dropping off your child to TC Kids Camp you must submit a TC Kids Camp Contract. You must also remain on campus during the time your child is at camp. Take a moment to review the contract here.
